Bases have the basics drawn for you, and the basics such as anatomy are what you need to learn if you want your art to improve and them using bases can slow that progress down a lot because you're not learning to do the work yourself. So please, if you use bases and think that you're not a good artist remember that we all go through a "bad art" phase. I went through it and so will you, but just remember that no amount of bases will make you improve unless you refernce from the base and not just run over, get a base and use it for no reason. That's not helping you improve. If there's a pose a base did and you can't seem to draw it right simplify the base. And by that I mean make the base look like a simple sketch using shapes such as a rectangle for the torso and change the design so it doesn't copy the base. Then clean up by making a new layer and making the lines on the layer. Colour it how you want and save the picture then go ahead and upload it! BUT DO CREDIT THE BASE BECAUSE YOU USED IT AS A REFERENCE AND NOT CREDITING CAN MAKE YOU SEEM LIKE AN ART THIEF!!
